About Cullingworth Bowling Club
Cullingworth Bowling Club are a long established crown green bowling club situated in a lovely village on the edge of Bronte Country with very pleasant views over the countryside.The sport of crown green provides a different bowling experience to that played on a flat bowling surface.
Crown green bowls is played on greens which have a raised surface around the centre of the green which means that to reach the target ‘jack’ can be a lot more of a challenge and indeed can often result in some funny and humorous moments!
As a club we offer an all inclusive facility for people of all ages and abilities, including those with physical and mental impairments, to participate in a sport activity that provides them with an opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, get some exercise and experience a welcoming and friendly environment through meeting new people.We welcome visits from local community centres, care homes and individuals who would normally be house bound or unable to get out due to their circumstances.
